Moved here from the Orlando area in 1984 so I didn't have to make the drive every weekend. I retired almost 3 years ago and now fish and shrimp whenever I want. Mainly a shore fisherman in the surf and Indian River Lagoon and shrimp from the Eau Gallie causeway and Mathers bridge. Also go offshore with friends once in a while. Sprayman, We need some good intel for the Mathers Bridge and Eau Gallie Causeway shrimpin scene. The reports have been real scarce for those areas lately. Any help you could give this site would be much appreciated.

Posts: 2640 07/29/10 10:49 AM S.E. Fla. Regional Coordinator - 1 Limits 2011	specialist - have posted my first report on the Eau Gallie area and plan to post more. I was using a Petromax lantern on the 24th. My 70 yr old eyes discovered that the glare is worse than I remembered from last year. My 30 yr old daughter and 33 yr old son-in-law didn't have nearly the problem I did - lol. On the 25th, I met NiteOwl40 and purchased a LED Greenie light. Hope to try it tonight for the first time. phoreel - hope to meet you at some point. I mostly fish early morning - 5 to about 9 AM - both in the surf and lagoon. Shrimping is mostly off the Eau Gallie causeway and sometimes the Mathers.
