Good info.  I just need to work on perfecting the craft.  I keep telling my wife that when the getting is good, I stay out late.  You never can tell from nite to nite.

I got a kitchen pass so I decided to go up to the Titusville pier.  Got there just before the lottery drawing for the best spots at 6:15pm.  I won it.  I had gone there the night before and had not seen a shrimp for 2 hours after sundown, but took my 5 year old son.  He had fun so I was happy even though I didn't even see one shrimp.  I did notice that the only people dipping were in one 15 foot spot so that is were I chose to go.  I ended up with 85 (26 large to jumbo).  That is not what I am use to in March thru june, but hey it is a start and I have the passion again.  Not to mention the tasty table fare.  The guy next to me caught about 50 and the rest of the two piers caught about 10.  Yes I said 10.  I left at 1am and got some sleep.  On a side note.  A gentleman caught 2 large black drum off the pier.  One was about 28-30 inches long, the other was looked about 44-46 or more long.  I was enormous.  Have a great time the next time you go shrimping and remember this.  As mean and nasty as shrimp can be, they don't have an evil bone in thier body...lol
