I don't recall where locally i got a can of Boeshield several years ago. I knew of it from working in aviation electronics. It displaces moisture from the surface of metals and leaves a thin, dry film of wax on the surfaces.

You can easily find it with a google search, some phone work may find it locally. It's more costly than other sprays, but for me it's the best around, because it does not become a dirt trap as wet lubricants do. And it leaves a long lasting film. I primarily use it for nav and anchor light sockets, and the trailer cable harness sockets. Also great for tools, but I confess, I'm not diligent in its use, despite knowing better
